Vivo‘s upcoming Vivo X200 is generating buzz with reports suggesting a surprising reduction in its wired charging capability. According to recent Chinese certification details, the X200 will support only 90W wired charging. A noticeable drop from the 120W wired charging offered by its predecessor, the Vivo X100, which was released last year.
In line with its predecessor, the X200 will reportedly not support wireless charging. However, the device is expected to make up for this with a larger battery, estimated to be in the range of 5,500 to 5,600 mAh, potentially justifying the downgrade in charging speed.
The Vivo X200 is anticipated to come equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 chipset. It boasts a 6.3-inch 1.5K display featuring slight curves on all sides. Additional features include an optical fingerprint sensor and a glass back. Photography enthusiasts can look forward to a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 50 MP main camera and a 50 MP 3x zoom periscope camera.
Despite the enhancements, the device is rumoured to maintain a slim profile, with a thickness of less than 9 mm.
