According to a recent leak from China, Realme is reportedly preparing to introduce a new range of smartphones, the Realme V60 and V60s. The leaked promotional material and specifications suggest that both models will have identical features, as confirmed by their TENAA listings. This raises the question of why Realme would release two seemingly identical models with such similar names, but such practices are not uncommon among Chinese smartphone manufacturers.
The V60 (and V60s) is set to feature a 120 Hz refresh rate display, IP64 certification for dust and splash resistance, and a 5,000 mAh battery, according to the leaked promo poster.
Further details from the TENAA listing reveal that the device will sport a 6.67-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 720×1604 pixels and will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC.
Camera-wise, the phones will have a single 32 MP camera on the back and an 8 MP front-facing camera for selfies. Charging will be supported at up to 10W. The devices will be available in multiple configurations with 4GB, 6GB, 8GB, or 12GB of RAM, and storage options of 64GB, 128GB, 256GB, or 512 GB. Both models will measure 165.6 x 76.1 x 7.94 mm and weigh 192g. The model number for the V60 is RMX3995, while the V60s is RMX3996.
There is no information on the official release date or whether these models will be available outside of China.
