Xiaomi is preparing to launch its anticipated Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro models this autumn, continuing its annual tradition of introducing high-end smartphones that nearly match its flagship offerings. Following last year’s release of the 13T and 13T Pro, this year’s models are expected to bring significant enhancements, especially in the Pro variant.
The 14T Pro is rumored to be inspired by the upcoming Redmi K70 Ultra designated for the Chinese market. However, it will distinguish itself with several notable upgrades. One of the key differentiating features of the 14T Pro will be the inclusion of wireless charging—a first for the T series. Additionally, it will boast a telephoto camera, replacing the macro camera found in the K70 Ultra. The Pro model will also continue its partnership with Leica for camera development, enhancing its photographic capabilities.
In contrast, the standard 14T model will likely feature the MediaTek Dimensity 8000 series SoC, aligning with its predecessor’s specifications. While the Pro version may continue to offer a rapid 120W charging, the standard 14T is expected to maintain a 67W charging capability, likely omitting the wireless charging feature to differentiate it from the Pro model further.
The Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro will be available in various international markets, including Europe and Japan. However, they will not be released in India—a consistent strategy for the T series. In Japan, the devices will be available through Softbank.
As Xiaomi gears up for another impactful release, the new 14T series promises to deliver advanced technology and refined features to cater to tech enthusiasts looking for high-performance smartphones without reaching the top-tier flagship territory.
