Vivo will launch the S20 lineup later this month, featuring two models: the Vivo S20 and S20 Pro. According to trusted sources, one of these phones will feature a huge 6,500 mAh battery, which would be a big improvement. Both models are expected to be as thin as the previous S19 series, staying under 8 mm thick. This slim design, along with a larger battery, would be a remarkable achievement for Vivo.
Vivo usually aims the S series at the Chinese market but later releases it globally as the V series with slight modifications. This means the S20 and S20 Pro give us a preview of what to expect from the global V50 and V50 Pro, which are likely to launch in a few months.
Leaks suggest that both the S20 and S20 Pro will have AMOLED screens with a high 1260p resolution. Vivo plans to equip the S20 with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip, while the S20 Pro will receive an upgrade to the Dimensity 9300 chip. Rumors initially suggested a more affordable model, the S20e, but Vivo has opted to exclude it from this lineup.
With a powerful battery, thin design, and strong processors, the vivo S20 lineup could be an exciting choice for mid-range smartphone users.
