Poco is expanding its Xiaomi Poco M6 smartphone lineup with the addition of the new M6 4G, set to make its global debut via an online event on June 11. This latest announcement from Poco’s global X account comes amidst rumors of an anticipated M6 Plus, which remains unconfirmed.
The M6 4G is poised to attract considerable attention with its 108 MP pro-grade camera and rapid 33W fast-wired charging capabilities. It will be available in two configurations: a 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version priced at $129, and an 8GB RAM with 256GB storage variant for $149.
Dubbed the entertainment magician, the M6 4G showcases a design that merges elements from its sibling models, the Poco M6 Pro and the Poco F6. Its appearance also closely resembles the recently launched Redmi 13, notably in the camera setup, although it features the distinctive Poco branding prominently on the back.
If speculations are correct and the M6 4G is indeed a rebranded Redmi 13, users can expect a 6.79-inch LCD touchscreen with a 90 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 550 nits. The camera suite includes a 2 MP macro camera and a 13 MP front-facing camera, complementing the main 108 MP sensor. A robust 5,030 mAh battery will power the device, which will run Android 14 with Poco’s HyperOS interface. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button enhances security, and the device will be offered in three distinct colors.
This upcoming launch represents a significant addition to Poco’s M6 series, promising high-end features at an accessible price point.
