Xiaomi is set to bring its Civi line of smartphones outside China for the first time with the launch of the Xiaomi 14 Civi in India. Scheduled for release on June 12, the device will be available through Flipkart, which has already launched a teaser microsite highlighting its features.
The Xiaomi 14 Civi is anticipated to be a rebranded version of the Civi 4 Pro, which debuted in China in March. The teaser microsite provides a glimpse into the phone’s impressive specifications.
The Xiaomi 14 Civi boasts a “segment premier Leica Professional camera system” with a 15mm-50mm range. This aligns with the Civi 4 Pro’s triple camera setup, featuring a 50 MP main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 12 MP ultrawide lens, and a 50 MP 2x telephoto lens. The device also supports “25mm cinematic HDR” and 15mm ultrawide shots with a 120-degree field-of-view. For selfie enthusiasts, the phone offers dual 32 MP front cameras.
The Xiaomi 14 Civi features a “floating quad-curve display” protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The display supports a 120 Hz refresh rate and boasts a “1.5K” resolution. At just 7.4 mm thin, the phone’s back has a nanotech fake leather texture, which is reportedly six times more wear-resistant than its predecessor. The device will be available in Cruise Blue, Matcha Green, and Shadow Black.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi 14 Civi is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, similar to the Civi 4 Pro. Its 4,700 mAh battery supports 67W fast wired charging, ensuring quick and efficient power-ups.
All the specifications confirmed the rebranding rumors of the Xiaomi 14 Civi as the Civi 4 Pro. The official pricing will be announced on June 12. Stay tuned for more details as Xiaomi expands its Civi lineup to the global market.
With this launch, Xiaomi aims to bring its innovative smartphone technology and stylish design to a broader audience, offering a premium experience to users in India.
