The phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chip and an octa-core CPU. The phone is equipped with a fingerprint sensor on the back while a single camera is provided on the front, but the camera technology and sensors have been upgraded. The ‘Vivo: Y78 Plus’ is offered with 5G support and has two cameras on the back, out of which the main camera is 50 megapixels while the second one is a 2 megapixel camera.
The phone has an 8-megapixel camera on the front and the camera technology has been improved by upgrading its sensors. The phone features a 5,000mAh battery with a 44W fast charger and has been introduced in three different colors. ‘Vivo: Y78 Plus’ was offered with 8 and 12 GB of RAM while 128 and 256 GB of memory.
The price of 8 GB RAM and 128 GB memory of the phone is 65 thousand rupees, while the price of 12 GB RAM and 256 GB memory has been kept up to 90 thousand rupees. The phone has initially been launched only in China, but it is likely to be rolled out in other countries in the region, including Pakistan and India, by next week.
The phone is being described as reasonable in terms of camera quality and price, however, some users are calling it an expensive phone, they believe that a mobile with three cameras can be found at such a price.
