At Samsung’s recent Unpacked Event, where the tech giant introduced the Galaxy Z Fold6, Z Flip6, Galaxy Watch7, Watch Ultra, Galaxy Ring, and Galaxy Buds3 series, exciting updates about Galaxy AI and its features were also announced. One of the highlights is the upcoming expansion of the Live Translate functionality to third-party apps. Currently, Live Translate, a feature under the Galaxy AI brand, works only with Samsung’s built-in phone app. However, Samsung is set to broaden its compatibility, allowing it to work with popular messaging apps like WhatsApp.
Additionally, Samsung plans to increase the number of supported languages. By the end of July, Live Translate will support 16 languages, and it will expand to 20 languages by the end of the year. These updates promise to make Samsung’s Live Translate more versatile and useful for users worldwide, enhancing communication across different languages on various platforms.
