Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Slim’s upcoming smartphone will have a cover display with the same aspect ratio as the Galaxy S24 Ultra‘s screen – 19.5:9. This information comes from a reliable source in China, Ice Universe.
While the aspect ratio will match, the Galaxy Z Fold Slim’s outer screen will be smaller at 6.5 inches. Inside, it will feature an 8-inch folding display. Both screens are bigger than those on the Galaxy Z Fold6, which was announced earlier this month.
The Galaxy Z Fold Slim, previously rumored to be named Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Ultra, will have a titanium frame and be thinner and lighter than the Fold6. This makes it a more premium and expensive foldable smartphone from Samsung.
The device is expected to launch between October and December, but it’s still unclear where it will be available. Some rumors suggest it might only be released in Korea and China. However, Ice Universe clarifies that the Slim should not be confused with the Samsung W25, a different foldable meant for the Chinese market. More details are expected to emerge as the launch date approaches. Stay tuned for updates!
