Samsung has extended its popular Circle to Search feature to the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, after initially releasing it for the Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra. The feature, which allows users to circle any object on their screen to retrieve information about it quickly, was missing from the S21 FE despite it sharing the same chipset as the other devices in the S21 lineup.
This omission has been addressed in Samsung’s latest August 2024 security update, which is now being rolled out in Vietnam, with other regions expected to follow soon. In addition to introducing Circle to Search, the update addresses over 50 security vulnerabilities within Android and Samsung’s One UI.
The Circle to Search feature is simple yet powerful. Users can instantly receive relevant information by drawing a circle around an object on your screen. It can even identify songs playing around you or on your phone. Users can long-press the white pill bar at the bottom of the screen or the home button to activate the feature if their device still features one.
With this update, Samsung Galaxy S21 FE users can now enjoy the same cutting-edge AI capabilities, which has already enhanced the experience for other members of the Galaxy S21 family.
