Last month, Oppo introduced the Oppo Reno12 F 5G, a mid-range smartphone powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset, featuring a 120Hz OLED display and a 50MP main camera. Now, Oppo has unveiled a new variant of the Reno12 F, this time equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 chipset.
The Oppo Reno12 F 4G maintains the design aesthetics of the 5G model but introduces a new Matte Grey color option, in addition to the existing Amber Orange and Olive Green hues. This 4G version comes standard with 8GB of RAM and offers storage options of 256GB and 512 GB. However, it supports the older Bluetooth 5.0 standard, compared to Bluetooth 5.3 on the 5G variant.
The remaining specifications are identical between the two models. Both feature a 6.7-inch OLED display, a triple camera setup with 50MP, 8MP, and 2MP sensors, and a 5,000mAh battery with 45W SuperVOOC charging. The Reno12 F 4G also runs on ColorOS 14.0.1 and includes Oppo’s AI suite, which offers features like AI Recording Summary, AI Summary for text, AI Writer, and AI Speak.
Oppo has yet to announce the pricing and availability for the Oppo Reno12 F 4G, but updates are expected soon. Stay tuned for more information on this latest addition to the Reno12 F lineup.
