Oppo is set to expand the reach of its Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro smartphones, with a global launch scheduled for June 18 in Ibiza, Spain. Initially available only in China, these devices are now poised to enter international markets. In a recent teaser, Oppo showcased the Reno 12 in an eye-catching Astral Silver color, offering a glimpse of the phone from various angles.
The design of the global Reno 12 mirrors that of its Chinese version. It features a centrally located punch-hole display and is distinguished by a rectangular camera setup on the back. The phone’s lower edge includes a USB-C port, a SIM card slot, a microphone, and a speaker, while the top houses an IR blaster, a secondary microphone, and what appears to be an additional speaker — a feature present in the Pro model but absent from the Chinese version of the Reno 12.
Oppo has not officially released details on the specifications of the global versions of the Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro. However, speculation suggests that these models may see some downgrades compared to their Chinese counterparts.
