Recent leaks have surfaced again from the well-known leaker Digital Chat Station, revealing more about the OnePlus 13’s camera capabilities, creating a buzz ahead of its anticipated release later this year. According to the latest details, the OnePlus 13 will feature a Sony LYT808 sensor for its main camera, and both the ultrawide and 3x periscope zoom cameras will utilize the Sony IMX882 sensor.
All three cameras are set to boast a 50 MP resolution, indicating an adjustment from the previous OnePlus 12, where the telephoto will have fewer pixels, and the ultrawide will capture more. These changes are expected to enhance the quality of photos and videos significantly.
Beyond the camera technology, the OnePlus 13 is rumoured to have a robust 6,000 mAh battery powered by the cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. The phone will also feature an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and a new design for the camera island, which hints at aesthetic updates and functional improvements.
The OnePlus 13 is slated for official release towards the end of the year for the Chinese market, with the international release likely to follow shortly after. This upcoming model promises to be a substantial upgrade over its predecessors, potentially setting a new standard for mobile photography within the industry.
