The Nubia Z60S Pro will be released tomorrow, along with the Z60 Ultra Leading Version. Today, ZTE Nubia shared a preview of the Z60S Pro’s design and some key specs. The new phone will come with a 35 mm equivalent main camera and a 5,100 mAh battery. It will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and have two-way satellite connectivity.
The Z60S Pro is the follow-up to the Z50S Pro, which also had the Snapdragon 8 chipset. nubia decided to keep this older chip to include satellite connectivity in more affordable models, according to Digital Chat Station on Weibo. The screen will have a 1.5K resolution, which is about 1260p.
The camera details are also out: the Z60S Pro will have a 50 MP Sony IMX906 sensor with an f/1.59 aperture. It will also feature the same ultra-wide and telephoto cameras as the Z50S Pro, with a 50 MP ultra-wide lens and an 8 MP telephoto lens with an 80 mm focal length.
The battery will support 80W wired charging. The Nubia Z series usually doesn’t include wireless charging, except for one version of the Z40 Pro, so it’s likely the Z60S Pro and Z60 Ultra will follow this trend. We’ll have all the details after tomorrow’s launch event and will keep you updated.
