Samsung is gearing up to introduce a special edition of its Galaxy Z Fold series, which promises to be slimmer than the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold6. This new model is expected to offer a sleek design and cutting-edge features that appeal to foldable phone enthusiasts.
One of the standout features of this special edition is its 200 MP main camera, as revealed by renowned leakster Evan Blass. The camera is expected to utilize the latest ISOCELL HP9 sensor. Although this sensor is slightly less advanced than the one in the Galaxy S24 Ultra, it still promises excellent photo quality, making it a significant upgrade for photography lovers.
In terms of display, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition will come equipped with an 8-inch foldable screen. A 6.5-inch cover screen complements it for added convenience. When folded, the device will be just 10.6 mm thick, making it one of the slimmest foldable phones on the market.
While details about the phone’s processor and battery capacity are still being revealed, more information is expected to surface as the launch date approaches. The phone is anticipated to be released in September or October of this year.
This special edition foldable is expected to be available mainly in Korea and China. Where it will compete with other foldable phones like the Magic V3 and Mix Fold 4. For now, Samsung doesn’t seem to have plans to release this model worldwide.
