Xiaomi continues to expand its diverse range of smartphones with the latest face-off between the Xiaomi Poco F6 and the Xiaomi Poco X6 Pro. These two closely matched models cater to different price segments. Despite their similarities, each offers distinct features that cater to varying consumer preferences.
The more affordable Poco X6 Pro is priced at approximately €100 less than its counterpart, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious buyers. However, the Poco F6 justifies its higher price tag with superior features in several key areas.
Both models boast a similar design, including nearly identical dimensions and weight, differing by mere millimetres and grams. Each sports a 6.67-inch OLED display with identical resolutions, refresh rates, and support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+. Despite the Poco F6’s claims of higher peak brightness for HDR content, both displays perform comparably in everyday conditions, with brightness levels reaching up to 1,200 nits.
The durability of the Poco F6 stands out with its IP64 ingress protection and Gorilla Glass Victus, offering an edge over the X6 Pro’s IP54 rating and older Gorilla Glass 5. The X6 Pro, while slightly lagging in these aspects, still stands as a solid choice for those looking for a robust smartphone experience at a more accessible price point.
