Samsung has officially ceased software updates for three smartphone models: the Galaxy A51 5G, Galaxy A41, and Galaxy M01. This decision marks the end of support for devices that have concluded their promised four-year update cycle.

Launched in April 2020, the Galaxy A51 5G debuted with Android 10 and was eventually updated to Android 13, the final operating system update it will receive. Similarly, the Galaxy A41, introduced in May 2020, began its journey on Android 10 and received its last major update with Android 12. The device continued to receive security updates until recently. The Galaxy M01, released in June 2020, followed the same update path from Android 10 to Android 12.

With these models having received consistent security updates for four years, in line with Samsung’s update commitment at their launch, the termination of support means users may need to consider upgrading to newer devices to maintain software security and functionality.
